I am a member of an NGO team working keenly for women?s empowerment in our country. As part of our mission, I have traveled all around India and have witnessed that women are more vulnerable than men to food insecurity due to lack of education, poor employment, low income, absence of decision-making power, and the drive to prioritize their child?s health. In poor households, women and girls eat less so that men and boys can eat more.
