NFPA 1910 provides requirements for the maintenance, testing and inspection of firefighting personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response personnel equipment. SCBA, and other vital equipment stays in the best possible condition. It provides guidelines for conducting routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, repairs and replacement, all of which will result in increased firefighter safety and operational readiness.
