Former F1 world champion Nelson Piquet could be made to pay a fine of ?1.5 million for his racist comments about the seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton. A combined case has been brought against the Brazilian by four human rights groups, who want to file a case under the allegation of causing moral and sentimental damage to people of colour and the LGBTQ+ community. The former driver will be fined ?1.5 million if he is found guilty in court.
