NEET UG 2022: How Many Seats Are Up For Grabs This Year?

The NTA (National Testing Agency) will be releasing the official answer key and results for the NEET exam shortly (Answer Keys ? 30th August 2022, Results ? 4th September 2022). This year?s NEET saw unprecedented competition with more than 18 lac aspirants fighting it out for top MBBS and BDS seats in India. The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) will be conducting the counselling process for seats under the AIQ (All India Quota) and state specific bodies will manage the seat allocation under the SQ (state Quota) [15% seats are reserved under AIQ and 85% under SQ]. The NEET counselling process is conducted over multiple rounds and is concluded by a stray and mop up round to complete seat allocation.
