A part of a complete blood count (CBC) is a measurement of mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH). The average amount of hemoglobin found in a cell is represented by the MCH. Pink blood cells contain a protein called haemoglobin that carries oxygen and carbon dioxide. Anemia and thalassemia can be identified by a low MCH. Lung or kidney disease might be the cause of excessive levels. If your levels are different, your doctor will figure out why and give you the right treatment.
