The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for people with significant and permanent disabilities between the ages of 7 and 65 to access various support and services. The prospective participants have to be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or Protected Special Category Visa holders for fulfilling the eligibility criteria. If there is a child younger than 7 who exhibits developmental delay or disability, NDIS provides early childhood support to address the child?s individual disability support needs. Usually, health or educational professionals are the first point of contact for majority of the parents who have concerns regarding their children with disabilities. These professionals can then connect the parents with Early Childhood Partners for necessary guidance.
