APPLIED VEDIC SCIENCE ? ADVANCED (VEDANTA) (SAN8110) - This advanced course explores the various philosophical interpretations of the Vedanta, the last parts of the Vedas, by different schools of thought. These schools not only differ in their understanding of the Vedanta but also in their teachings and perception of the world both here and in the afterlife. The rich dialectical tradition between these schools of Vedanta still continues to this day. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Vedas by examining and comparing the diverse ontologies and teachings of these schools.
