n today's video we will learn about the ancient religious texts of India, Vedas, Puranas and especially Shiva Mahapuran. Veda: First of all, let us understand the Vedas. Vedas are considered the basic scriptures of Hindu religion. These four are ? Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda. These include mantras, hymns, methods of yagyas and philosophy. Purana: Now let us talk about Puranas. After the Vedas, the Puranas have an important place in Hindu religion. Their number is considered to be 18, which also includes Shiva Mahapuran. The origin of creation, stories of gods and goddesses, religion, ethics and ideals of living are described in the Puranas.
