JB Pe?a, the newly appointed superintendent of the school district, has set his sights on becoming a "country club member" in addition to his prestigious role. However, his aspirations are quickly dampened after his initial interaction with the exclusive club through its golf club representative. Pe?a soon realizes that achieving membership in this small town can only be a distant dream. In an unexpected turn of events, Pe?a finds himself entangled in a violent encounter with a group of Latino teenagers who work as caddies at the same club. Surprisingly, these teenagers have a deep admiration for the sport and have even constructed their own golf course in the desert. Not only that, they display impressive golfing skills. Recognizing their potential, Pe?a shifts his focus towards assisting this group of five individuals in forming the first-ever high school golf team.
