The first method to detect mycoplasma is the DNA method which makes take several days. It is because, in this, you will have to grow the sample of the suspected cell cultures. After that, you can use the fluorescent dye because mycoplasmas cells will appear on that. It is a reliablemethod that you can use, which will help detect mycoplasma. However, it may not be detected by the gold-standard culture method.
