Must We Vacate To Sell A Commercial Building? Is it a true or urban myth that tenants or owners will have to vacate to sell a commercial building? I am sure about the origin of the idea or where I have heard. But when I think about it today then I feel that it might not be a bit of good advice as liability and security are a very big matter of concern for the commercial property owners. What Can I Do To Sell A Commercial Building? Getting me listed with a commercial real estate owner is not on the priority list. I would prefer to find a buyer on my own as I want to avoid paying a commission on the sale and also any pressure for vacating the building for selling it. Searching for my buyer means doing a lot of extra work for posting, advertising, and promoting my property for sale along with handling all the inquiries that may come via phone, email, and text message.
