Kinkaku-ji ( Golden Pavillion): Kinkakuji or the Golden Temple is a Zen temple in northern Kyoto. It goes by the name Golden Pavilion because the top two floors of this beautiful temple are completely covered in gold leaf. Kinkakuji is a beautifully built, impressive structure.
