Developers of multi-residential projects focus on getting maximum return on investment. In the process they may ignore or overlook various factors. Comfort of families occupying the living spaces does not matter much. Privacy takes a backseat as apartments face each other. Large condominiums impose a heavy burden on natural resources but this does not seem to be something to be concerned about. The list could go on and on.
