He became the 11th Indian cricketer to receive this honor, joining a distinguished group of inductees that includes Matthew Hayden, Daniel Vettori, Hashim Amla, Sana Mir, Graeme Smith, and Sarah Taylor. The cricketing fraternity celebrated the moment with admiration and praise. BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla hailed him as the “most deserving player” for the recognition.
