Michael Vaughan terms non-selection of Ravi Ashwin in fourth Test as madness

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has termed the non-selection of the Ravichandran Ashwin as "madness." His statement comes after India did not field him in the XI for the fourth Test match in a row during their ongoing tour of England and continued to stick with their template of four pacers and a spinner in Ravindra Jadeja. While many had expected Ashwin to be in the XI after India received an innings defeat at the Leeds in the third Test, there was no mention of the off-spinner when captain Virat Kohli was asked about the changes to his team. Reacting soon after the toss, Vaughan said that the non-selection of Ashwin has to be the greatest non-selection ever witnessed in the United Kingdom across the four Test matches. To drive home his point, Vaughan even highlighted Ashwin's records.
