Former England captain Michael Vaughan has alleged the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) of ending Alex Hales international career. While Hales wasn?t considered for selection despite being in terrific form in the Vitality T20 Blast competition in the first choice squad, he was even overlooked when they were forced to select a new-look 18-member squad since the entire team was pushed into isolation after seven members of the contingent tested positive for COVID-19. While nine uncapped players have received a call up, Ben Stokes has been named the captain of the side but there is no Hales. Taking note of the incident, Vaughan made the observation on social media highlighting how this could imply the end of his international career.
