The term “K-12” is commonly used in the educational circle, which is an abbreviation for “kindergarten to grade 12th.” In simple terms, the K-12 represents the primary and secondary education system of a country. This educational structure covers the entire foundation year of a student’s educational journey. From early childhood, that is year 4 or 5, to catering the completion of education till high school that is the age of 18. K-12 is the foundational framework for lifelong learning, equipping students with the necessary academics, social, and emotional skills. This eventually helps in a child’s growth and transitions them for higher education, vocational training, and workplace adjustments at last.
