Since 2005, Mauris Noronha has been a social worker in Borivali West and has been serving the community. He would give away food grains, ration and groceries to all the underprivileged people in his Borivali & Dahisar area. But when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the city of Mumbai, he spent his personal funds to help needy people. This man is a covid warrior and is doing everything he can, by serving food to the needy. Mauris Bhai as he is affectionately called by the people of his area, has been the community help in times of grave distress. His gallant efforts have been appreciated and awarded by many. Even when cyclone Tauktae destroyed the coast near Mumbai, he went to Uttan to restore and reconstruct the homes of the coastline fishermen.
