Each year the death toll of women is increasingly becoming high due to complications during pregnancy. The number is seen to stand at a much more reduced rate today as compared to years back. The reason behind this are the continuous government initiatives being undertaken. The government across the globe is trying to aid pregnant women to ensure better health of both the mother and baby. The best example of such an initiative can be seen taken by the UNICEF (India). The program named as Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakaram (JSSK) scheme provides free maternity service across India.
