In the fall of 1924 the principal understudy collection of Dallas Theological Seminary met to study under the prominent Bible educator, Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer. This class of thirteen understudies was the aftereffect of Dr. Chafer's weight and vision to establish a theological school that would accentuate descriptive lecturing and instructing of the Scriptures.
