Large events often bring several environmental problems, including noise pollution, resource depletion, and too high trash generation. The sheer number of guests often results in a notable rise in food waste and single-use plastics and overwhelming efforts at recycling and composting. Water use also rises; venues consume large volumes for food and sanitary needs, perhaps taxing local resources.
