Myofitness12320 Jul, 2022Health

Manual lymph drainage (MLD) is a form of massage technique that helps facilitate the movement of lymph fluid/ swollen lymph nodes around the body. This gentle massage helps remove waste products and toxins from the body tissue, which is especially crucial for patients with swollen lymph nodes and Lymphatic diseases, including but not limited to; Lymphedema Fibromyalgia Swelling or edema Skin disorders Fatigue Insomnia Stress Digestive problems Arthritis Migraine episodes The lymphatic system consists of tissues, vessels, and organs that work together to transport a colourless, watery substance called lymph back into the circulatory system or known as the bloodstream. It?s important to note, fluid that drains from cells and tissues (and that is not reabsorbed into the capillaries) becomes lymphatic fluid, along with proteins, minerals, fats, nutrients, damaged cells, cancer cells and foreign invaders (bacteria).
