Manchester City unveil Sergio Aguero statue on 10th anniversary of 93:20 strike

Manchester City has unveiled the permanent statue of their star striker, Sergio Aguero outside the Etihad Stadium. The statue marks ten years to the day since he scored the goal against Queens Park Rangers that secured Manchester City?s Premier League title. The sculpture has Aguero celebrating his iconic winner which was scored in second-half stoppage time. This statute has joined the statues of former club captain Vincent Kompany and former midfielder David Silva, celebrating a defining and special era for City. Kun Aguero had to retire from football citing a heart arrhythmia before the start of the season 2021-22 when he moved to Barcelona.
