Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that focuses on the development of algorithms and statistical models that enable computers to learn from and make predictions or decisions based on data, without being explicitly programmed to do so. In essence, it's about teaching computers to learn from patterns in data and make decisions or predictions without human intervention. There are several types of machine learning approaches: Supervised Learning: In supervised learning, the algorithm is trained on a labeled dataset, meaning that the input data is paired with the correct output. The algorithm learns to map inputs to outputs, making predictions or decisions based on new, unseen data. Unsupervised Learning: Unsupervised learning involves training algorithms on unlabeled data. The goal is to find hidden patterns or structures in the data, such as clustering similar data points together or reducing the dimensionality of the data.
