Love dolls have been around since the beginning of time, they are a Japanese based toythat has only recently spread all over the world. In Japan, they are known as ?ashi? (meaning ?alone?), and in China as ?men-ti? (meaning ?small girl?). So, what exactly are these toys? First off, what is a love doll anyway? Basically, a robot or android is programmed to act like a young girl. These adorable little toys have many different functions, such as walking, talking, playing games, and so much more. They are programmed by their creators to love, obey, laugh and have fun. While love dolls started out as ordinary little girls, today?s love dolls come in a variety of different organic shapes and sizes. They are no longer just wooden dolls or cardboard boxes. Most of today?s dolls come in an organic plastic mould that looks just like the real thing, except it is two parts instead of one. This type of doll is now called a ?robot doll?.
