LG Solar Battery Recall - Energy Storage Solution Australian LG Chem

The ACCC is urging customers to urgently test if their LG, SolaX or Opal domestic energy solar systems are suffering from risky LG solar energy storage batteries which might be under recall, and in that case to contact the producer, right now. The batteries can overheat and capture fire, which may cause serious injuries, death and asset damage. LG has recalled the batteries, however about 6400 of the recalled batteries have not but been replaced, and the ACCC is worried that those customers won't be aware about the recall and the fire risk.
