Us Committee For Refugees And Immigrants04 Jan, 2022Legal
USCRI provides urgently needed social services for unaccompanied migrant children. The Florida-based Committee for Refugees and Immigrants is a point of contact for unaccompanied girls ages 13 to 17. This accommodation is funded by the US Department of Health for Children and Families under the Unaccompanied Foreign Child Program. The USRCI is not a detention center. This is the place where girls can get better, get stronger, and prepare for the journey ahead. The program provides employment and training opportunities to adolescents repatriated to El Salvador from the United States and gives them the tools to rebuild their lives. By providing training and employment opportunities, the USCRI Livelihood program helps young people rebuild their lives and contribute to the economic development of their country. USCRI works with lawyers and social service providers to reunite girls with their families.
