Land restoration is the process of ecological restoration of a site to a natural landscape and habitat that is safe for plants, wildlife, and humans. It is essentially the process of environmental restoration of a previously industrial/service-based site to an unnatural landscape and bio-system, safe for people, wildlife, and other plant communities. People are essential parts of the ecosystem. They co-exist with each other in delicate harmony. When the natural systems that exist on the site are disturbed by human activities, they can be harmed.
