If you want to see proof of the global village, you need only look at trends in food. And if you want to see how far Korean has penetrated cultures at a global scale, you only need to look at food trends as well. Or more exactly, you need only look at the people and food scene in Sinagpore. The Korean Presence Understandably, Singapore is home to perhaps the most number of cultures anywhere else on earth. As the most populate country in the world, I have found myself here in the company of various races, religions and cultures. My boss is Chinese, my friends are Asians, my co-worker is American, my sister-in-law is European. And strangely, they all love Korean cuisine in Singapore.
