For a medical abortion, you need Cytotec medication. It is the counterpart of Misoprostol, a prostaglandin E1 analog, which causes uterine contractions to dispel the pregnancy portions from the uterus, and outside the vagina. It also widens the cervix, which makes the cervical opening flexible to let the pregnancy remains out easily. However, the procedure has some symptoms and side effects, and more importantly, it can be used alone to cause a pregnancy termination, or taken combinedly with Mifepristone.
