The Indian government launched the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Scheme in 1998 to give the country's farmers financial assistance. The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) created this scheme, also known as the PM Kisan Credit Card Yojana, to provide credit cards to farmers. Farmers can buy seeds, pesticides, fertilizer, and other commodities on short-term credit using credit cards. And not just that. They may also use it to control their agricultural spending and get loans by taking cash out of ATMs.
