An electric balance bike is a heavy duty balance bike with an electric motor and battery fitted to the frame. They are very light compared to other motorbikes which is great for young riders. The rider can learn to balance with out using the power like a conventional balance bike. The bike features a freewheel system when the motor is not in use. This allows it to glide along easily with no resistance. When the rider is ready they can start to use the bikes power and twist throttle to propel the bike. Then once they are confident on the slow speed setting they can progress to the fast speed setting.
