Kerala plane crash: 18 killed, including pilot and co-pilot

MUMBAI: An Air India Express flight carrying 191 passengers from Dubai skidded off the runway at Kozhikode International Airport in Kerala on Friday night, causing a major accident. The crash was so horrific that the plane split in two. Eighteen people, including pilots and co-pilots, were killed. Both pilots worked hard to prevent an accident. But the plane could not survive the crash. Deepak Sathe (59) and Captain Akhilesh Kumar (33) lost their lives in the accident. Both were the best pilots in the country.
