A beach town in southern India, Kovalam is home to spectacular and pristine looking beaches. The idyllic village features three main beaches among which Lighthouse Beach is the most popular and the largest. The three beaches namely, the Lighthouse beach, Samudra beach, and Hawa beach are connected together and they together form a rocky crescent. The beach is named after the 30-metre lighthouse that rests at this place.
