The Kegel exercise is a simple exercise for strengthening the pelvic floor muscles. The pelvis is the region between the hips that contains the reproductive organs. The pelvic floor includes a series of muscles and tissues that produce a sling at the bottom of the pelvis. This sling is responsible for holding the organs in the right place. A weak pelvic floor invites the issues like inability to regulate the bowels or bladder region.
