Kanpur- In Kanpur zone, 9108 villages have been included under the tap water campaign for every house. In which, keeping in mind the government's environment and electricity saving scheme along with water supply, till now the plan to make 3996 solar equipped pumps has been approved. Continuous efforts are being made to bring solar pump schemes to the ground quickly. So far, the work of 2376 solar pumps has been completed in Kanpur zone. This information was given by UP Jal Nigam Rural Area Kanpur Zone Chief Engineer E.R.B. Ram gave.
