Jurkat Cells: Description, Handling & Applications

Jurkat cells are human T-lymphocyte cells originally derived from a leukemia patient. They are widely used to study immune cell signaling, T-cell activation, and cancer research. These cells grow easily in suspension and require standard culture conditions at 37 °C with 5% CO₂. Proper handling, including regular checks for contamination and careful passage, helps maintain healthy cultures and reliable results for experiments.
