Charity workers often put their hearts and souls into their jobs. Because of their commitment to the cause, it?s not uncommon for workers in this sector to work long hours and go above and beyond. They also often work for low pay. Unions could be an excellent step for charity workers to control their workplaces and ensure their rights. But as it stands, many still don?t even know that unions represent their sector.
