String does not identify as a Datatype in Java. It declares itself to belong to a particular class. A String can be created by any programmer by instantiating the String class, which is contained in the java.lang package. It makes it easier to come up with some methods and structures for producing, modifying, and searching a string. String objects cannot be overwritten since they are immutable. Java creates a new object if any changes to the string operation are required.
