The Memphis Grizzlies released a statement on X about Ja Morant's season-ending injury that he suffered during a training session on Saturday. Morant will undergo surgery, which will force him to miss the remaining season, after suffering a labrum tear in his right shoulder. The Grizzlies stated, " Following ongoing soreness and instability, Morant underwent an MRI that revealed an underlying labral tear. Morant will undergo season-ending surgery and is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2024-25 season."
