Sri Lanka's bowling all-rounder Isuru Udana has announced retirement from international cricket. The 33-year-old has taken the abrupt call after featuring in the limited-overs series against India. The left-arm pacer has 21 ODIs and 34 T20Is for the national team and scalped 18 and 27 wickets respectively. Moreover, Udana even enjoyed a 10-match stint at the Indian Premier League in which he picked as many as 8 wickets. His decision comes at the backdrop of conflict between the players and the board in Sri Lanka and their disappointing performances in recent times, except their T20I series win over India.
