Sriharikota. India's third moon mission i.e. Chandrayaan-3 has been launched on Friday (July 14). It was sent into space from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh by an LVM3-M4 rocket at 2.35 pm. Whereas before this, PM Modi tweeted that today's day will be written in golden letters. Landing will be done after 50 days of journey After a journey of about 50 days, a soft landing of Vikram Lander will be done on the south pole of the Moon on 23-24 August. If the lander soft lands on the South Pole, India will become the fourth country after the US, Russia and China to do so. This mission has been prepared at a cost of 615 crores. LVM3-M4 rocket is being used to send 'Chandrayaan-3'. Space agency ISRO launched Chandrayaan-2 with this rocket. It was earlier known as GSLV MK-III.
