Is Gig Economy Good or Bad for Delivery workers?
With technology increasing its spectrum tenfolds, people are becoming dependent. Also, people are occupied with a lot of work burden and want everything to happen without much involvement. To tackle this, online services like swiggy, ola, uber, etc., are doing work. Recently a tweet by Grofer?s CEO said that he wants to lessen the delivery time up to 10 minutes. Other gig economy companies also have promised such delivery times. With high expectations and to do the work faster, are we sidelining the pressure that a delivery person goes through to achieve this target?
