IRS Notice

Usglobaltax24 Sep, 2020Legal

The IRS may issue a notice or letter for any number of reasons. They could detail a specific issue with your federal tax return or notify you of changes to your tax account. Sometimes they will simply request information to resolve an issue. However, occasionally they will require a payment to the IRS. Ensuring that these notices are handled properly can be difficult without expert tax knowledge. Handling this process alone can be not only incredibly difficult but also risky. Serious fines could be applied if the IRS notice is unresolved for too long. Without an effective payment plan, you could struggle to pay the full amount owed, resulting in additional interest and penalties. This could occur due to a misunderstanding between the taxpayer and the Internal Revenue Service.
