Ireland's NTR and Microsoft sign an 86-MW wind PPA in Sweden
NTR Plc, an Irish renewable energy producer and investor, has signed an agreement with Microsoft Corp. to discharge electricity from an 86-MW wind farm project in Sweden. The corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) is based on the Norra Vedbo wind project, which NTR and Reichmuth Infrastructure, a division of Swiss private bank Reichmuth & Co, jointly own. The agreement is in line with the software giant's ambition to run its data centers in Sweden entirely on carbon-free electricity.
