Iran Medical Council lambasts education ministry for schools’ reopening

DUBAI: The Iran Medical Council (IMC) has questioned the country’s education ministry’s decision to reopen schools amid the coronavirus pandemic, national media Radio Farda has reported. IMC head Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi has raised concerns over the decision which he described as a “sudden u-turn,” adding it would add “burden on the country’s medical workers.”
