In a recent development it is being learned that the mega auction ahead of IPL 2022 is likely to take place by the end of ongoing year. According to a recent media report, the BCCI has finalised the blueprint for the two new franchises, the mega auction, player retention, and increase in purse. It is worth noting that the number of teams in IPL is being increased from eight to ten.
