On Monday, November 25, following the conclusion of the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) have completed their squad for the upcoming season of the league. Shreyas Iyer became the second highest paid player in the history of the IPL after PBKS shelled out a whopping INR 26.75 Crore to avail his services, and it is highly likely that they could appoint him as the new captain of the franchise.
