IPL 2022: BCCI planning to host playoffs in Lucknow and Ahmedabad- Reports

According to reports, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is planning to host the playoff matches of the Indian Premier League at two new venues in the country. The BCCI has apparently selected Lucknow and Ahmedabad to host the playoff matches of IPL 2022. These two have also got their IPL teams this season as the tournament shifted from eight teams to ten. The 2022 season has brought on many changes in the tournament. A new format was introduced where ten teams were divided into two virtual groups. The league stage of the IPL will be played in the Mumbai-Pune region in four stadiums. While there were reports that playoffs will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemadabad.
