An internal link is also known as a hyperlink between two pages on the same domain or website. Internal links are hyperlinks that direct the readers to a target page on your website. The internal link is a link if the user clicked or tapped on the particular keyword link, that goes from one page to another page by opening the webpage on the same domain. The internal link keyword passes a PageRank (SEO value) as well as the context through anchor text and surrounding content. Most definitions of the word 'internal linking' use the word domain instead of a website. But, that gets a little dicey due to subdomains. There are four types of internal links you need to know they are: Contextual links, Navigational links, Footer links, Image Links. Examples of internal link keywords are website navigation. Website navigation is also the best example of the internal link keyword and it is the process of navigating or moving a network of information resources in the World Wide Web.
